So, second on the list.. Strawberry!

Strawberry Jam

Righto. I cracked out the strawberry jam tonight, and had it on a crumpet. I was rather suprised to find that Strawberry and Raspberry jam are very different, considering they both have the word 'Berry' in them. Although I thought strawberry would taste a bit more, strawry than raspberry, but alas, it was a very nice and sweet Jam, and with melted butter on crumpets, it's also heavenly, although I sometimes came across a rather large strawberry in my jam, and to be honest, could do with less big ones, and more little ones, makes it look alot neater. I really enjoyed it, and later, when I go to bed, I will likely smother myself in it and let my nan lick it off, and then repeat it again, but the other way around. That is how much I love strawberry jam, one of the kings of jam.

So.. Ratings...

Taste : 5 JamJams

Texture/Consistancy: 4 JamJams

On Crumpets: 4 JamJams

So as you can see, its a very nice jam, and indeed, I would advise people to eat it.

Raspberry Jam - The first Jam of many...

Ok, so here we go... first up... it's....

 

RASPBERRY JAM

Ok, so, Jam. Well I tried some Raspberry jam today, on some toast. It was nice, with a nice texture, and not too many seeds. It has a slightly bitter taste, which is a nice thing to have on toast. I also tried it on a crumpet, and with melted butter, it was lovely. I wouldn't put it in a pie though, as it is too bitter, you would have to put alot more sugar in it. It has a nice consistancy and makes me want to windmill on my balcony, but alas, I am much too shy, so instead, do it on chatroulette.

Anyway, to the ratings...

Raspberry Jam, gets 4 JamJams for taste.

It gets 3 for consistancy...

..and 5 for having it on crumpets.
